🇬🇧A bit late for the first article of the week, but forgive me 😇 I had a lot of work to do with my classes, internships interviews and oral preparations. I still take the time to share on the blog today the recipe of this lemon poppy seeds cake which is just delicious 😍 This is little time I like lemon in my desserts, before I did not like it at all. But my taste has evolved, and now I love sweet lemon preparations

I tried to reproduce the taste of the lemon-poppy seed muffins from Starbucks, but I lost my pain, nevertheless that cake is just delicious 😊 I leave you with the recipe (inspired by The Londoner) and wish you a good Week ! 💛

Ingrédients :
  • 3 oeufs
  • 170g de farine à levure incorporée
  • 170g de beurre
  • 2 citrons

Ingredients :

  • 3 eggs
  • 170g of yeast flour incorporated
  • 170g butter
  • 2 lemons
  • 170g soft butter
  • Icing sugar for icing

Steps :
Preheat oven to 180 °C. Mix all the ingredients, starting with the dry ingredients, adding the beaten eggs then the soft butter. Add the zest of the two lemons. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Then prepare the frosting, collect the juice of a lemon (to start) and mix with icing sugar. You need to get a relatively thick white preparation, there is not really any quantity regarding the icing because it depends on the consistency you want to get.
Once the cake comes out of the oven and cooled well, pour the icing on the cake! And enjoy 😝
